Little Bear goes to visit his grandparents. There is some dozing off on the part of grandpa and Little Bear. The book also includes a couple stories told by grandparents. There are some nice pictures with the simple story.

As with the other little bear books, the pictures are excellent in this one. The stories have a simple, innocent touch. The anthropomorphic bears have a few real world scenarios. In the first, bear and owl imagine they are catching a whale and octopus when fishing. In the second, bear imagines that dad may bring home a mermaid. This grows until all his friends expect to see a real mermaid. They are somewhat contented when the can hear the sea in shells. In the third, Little Bear is cured from hiccups, while in the 4th, he imagines a mermaid.

There are four short stories in this little bear book. They have a simple innocent feel. In one, little bear asks for many articles of clothing to keep himself warm. At the end he asks for a fur coat - what he already has. In another, he makes birthday soup. In the third, he "travels to space" and finds space a lot like home. And then in the final, he remembers that fun he had. The illustrations are also great.

Little Bear draws a picture for Little Bear. He sends it back to him by way of an animal "chian". It starts to progress well from animal to animal until it gets to a skunk. However, a skunk kisses another skunk who kisses back until they fall in love. Hen has to grab the kiss back to get it back to Little Bear. The skunks end up getting married and inviting Little Bear to be best man. It is a nice , cute story.
