Lies, Love, and Breakfast at Tiffany's

Lies, Love, and Breakfast at Tiffany's by Julie Wright

I girl underwent treatment for eye cancer the same day Audrey Hepburn died of cancer. She felt linked to her and wanted to break into Hollywood. She recently got a job at a big studio working for a hotshot editor. However, the editor is a narcissistic drunk who barely does anything. She is able to rescue a film via the help of her friend (who works for a competing studio.) She has feelings for him. However, she seems to be attached to another women. There is plenty of second guessing each others feelings and don't get together even though they both want to. Eventually, their collaboration comes to a head and they both face termination from their jobs. And if that is not enough, she also finds her grandmother has cancer. After all the challenges, everything comes together in a happy ending. This is much more of a nerdy romance than a steamy one (and that is a good thing.)
