The Daddy Book / El libro de los papás (Spanish and English Edition) by Todd Parr
A simple book describes things that daddy does. It can lend itself to doing actions like tickling the kid. This version had text in both languages (but my kid did not want to hear any Spanish)
Otto has a birthday party. He invites his friends over. He tries to cook his own cake with a bunch of weird items. It turns out horribly. Luckily the ice cream truck comes to save the day.
The book has nice simple bright colors. Though I do wonder why "cool kitty the cat" feels when they are playing pin the tail on the cat.
