Here, George!

Here, George! by Sandra Boynton, illustrated by George Booth

George is a dog that doesn't do much of anything. When the family leaves and some music plays nearby, he dances. By the time the family returns, he is exhausted and doesn't do much of anything. I'm not a fan of the illustration style in the book. The story itself is meh, but has a bit of charm.

Barnyard Dance!

Barnyard Dance! by Sandra Boynton

The animals do a barnyard dance. It is a type of called-out square dance with different animals in each role. It is not very memorable.

But Not the Hippopotamus

But Not the Hippopotamus by Sandra Boynton (Author, Illustrator)

The other animals do lots of fun things, but the hippo is shy and avoids them. At the end, they all invite the hippo and she joins them - but the armadillo is left alone. The book has a fun style and quick interesting story.
