This horse book has a princess and her pony. She is set by her fairy godmother to go on a quest to find gems. She treats the horse and others kindly, and thus finds the gems and gets her full crown. Only worth reading if you are really into horses and princesses. Even then, it is not a great story.

A girl and her horse Patch meet another girl and her horse. The other horse is a good show-horse. However, that horse is afraid of the woods. The two girls learn to respect each other and their horses. 

This book also ties in to a model horse company. For girls that love horses, it would be a good book to read themselves. For others, it is fairly bland.
