Cress: The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer
I admit to no being super in to this series. In this third ppk, they end up on earth. They ooo and ah over being there, but then have to struggle to survive in the Sahara. They get to explore the "second class" status of cyborgs. They are better than humans, so they are discriminated against. There is also action and some bits of romance. Things get confusing with royals and allies. Sometimes I think I get things in my mind mangled with Trolls or Descendents.
