Plenty: Eating Locally on the 100-Mile DietAlisa Smith and J.B. Mackinnon
A couple attempt to live a year eating food within 100 miles of their home in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a plus, the area has a temperate climate with plenty of variety. Though as a disadvantage, there is an international border and ocean. Their initial forays result in super expensive, but local meals. They discover the actual food in their local farmer's market, and eventually have some success. Though some things (like what flour) prove hard to find. They also explore some of their family traditions. It is an interesting exploration of local eating and the modern challenges.
