Goliath is part modern commentary and part science fiction. It is set in a near future east coast. The evnironment has gone to gone to pot. Those means have escaped, leaving a (mostly black) population to suffer at the mercy of the aid of others. Others come to tour the poor American cities. A college educated black man gets arrested and starts a prison rebellion. The book could only be written by a black author (otherwise, they would be cancelled for the language.)
