Tales of the Greek Heroes

Tales of the Greek Heroes by Roger Lancelyn Green

This book tells the story of the greek heroes as one continuous narrative. It seems like a good idea. I just more trouble getting into it than with other mythology books.

V2: A Novel of World War II

The German V2 rockets were not precise, but they could cause sudden, intense damage. Britain employed women to calculate the trajectories of the rockets in an attempt to find the launch site. The novel follows a woman calculator and her love interests as well as a rocket scientist and conflicted desires for space travel. Others seem to not understand the various ongoings and are quick to jump to conclusions. The book is much more about the personal impact than the detailed operations.
