Paul Bunyan was precariously strong from a very young age. He grew to be huge and was a great lumberjack. He helped clear the entire midwest and even set out to the Pacific Ocean. The grand canyon was made from him cutting the ground in a time of stress. He made the great lakes and St Lawrence river to get maple syrup to his crew and his giant flapjack maker. The story can be hard to tell apart from some of the other "tall tale" books in this series. It felt like the unique parts were not accentuated enough. It is fairly succinct, but gets a bit weird and rambly in the middle. (The goblin-like creatures did get a bit weird.)
