A farmer wants a farm. He buys ones from an old man for a dollar. Then he finds the issue - all the animals are confused and think they are another animal. He trains them all. Then he marries a woman that comes by. All seems good, until they invite her father to live with him. He ends up being the original old man, and when they see him, the other animals return to their "wrong" behavior. It is a silly book.
