Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus: Life of a Cactus Series, Book 1

A girl has no arms. She learns to cope with it. At first she enjoys making stories about it. Everyone just accepts her for the way she is. Later she moves to Arizona for her dad to take a job at a run-down theme park. Things are not so great there. People just ignore her or give her strangle looks.

She later makes friends with a few other outcasts. One boy has Tourette Syndrome. Another is fat. The "outcasts" become friends. They help each other out and help work on a quest to find out some mysteries of the theme park. They also build up courage to do things. She tries out for the soccer team. They also work to make the event at the theme park.

In the end she learns more about her birth family and the history of the park. They also work hard to overcome challenges and grow in their own way. It gives a positive message about working to enjoy life despite of difficult conditions.
